What a session covers

Each session is built around one question you bring. These are the areas a question usually falls into.

No two venues bring the same question, so no session is a fixed package. What follows is the working territory — the kinds of decisions a Phuket hospitality owner brings to an inquiry, and what we do with them together.

Cash flow against fixed monthly costs

Rent on the island keeps falling due through the green season, not only in peak. We map your weekly cash receipts against rent, wages and supplier terms to see where the gaps actually fall, and what size of reserve carries a venue through the low months.

VAT registration and filing rhythm

Many hospitality owners reach the VAT threshold without a clear plan for the filing rhythm that follows. We look at your monthly turnover, the threshold, and the timing of your input tax, so the filing dates stop being a surprise.

Food and beverage cost by menu line

A menu is a set of pricing decisions, and each line carries its own cost ratio. We work through your best and worst sellers by food cost and labour, and flag the lines that quietly drain the month.

Seasonality across peak and low months

Phuket’s calendar — Songkran, the high season, the green months — moves revenue in waves. We lay your monthly revenue against those waves and plan staffing, stock and pricing so the low months are not financed by the high ones at the last moment.

Staff payroll, cash payments and leave

Hospitality payroll on the island mixes formal wages, cash payments and seasonal staff. We review how you provision for wages, leave and end-of-term obligations so nothing surfaces as a shock at the wrong time.

Pricing for room nights, covers and service charges

Whether you sell covers, room nights or both, pricing is where the season is won or lost. We test your current pricing against cost and occupancy, and check where a service charge or a seasonal rate change would land.

What a session does not cover

A session does not file your taxes, audit your books, or replace a registered accountant. It prepares you, in plain language, to make the choice on your plate — and to walk into an accountant’s office with figures that are already organised.

To bring your question into a session, send an inquiry. To see the steps from inquiry to working session, read how an engagement works.
