How an engagement works

An engagement is a request for a conversation about your numbers. This is the whole shape of it.

An engagement here is deliberately small. It starts with one inquiry about one question, and it ends when that question is answered. There is no onboarding, no platform to log into, and no recurring billing unless you and the practice both agree to it in writing.

Step 1 — You send the inquiry

You write a few sentences on the contact page: your venue type, where on the island you operate, and the decision in front of you. A cash-flow gap. A VAT question. A pricing change for the high season. A second location you are weighing. Two or three sentences are enough.

Step 2 — A clarifying conversation

We reply within two business days, by email. If the question would benefit from a short call, we arrange one — usually twenty minutes — to understand your seasonality, your cost structure, and what you want from the session. If a session is not the right fit, we say so and point you toward what is.

Step 3 — The working session

We sit with your figures — POS reports, supplier costs, payroll, VAT filings — and work through the question you raised. You keep the notes. Sessions can be held at the Phuket office or remotely; we confirm the format and any fee in writing before the session is scheduled.

Step 4 — Follow-up and the next question

You leave with a written summary of what we looked at and what we agreed. If a follow-up is useful, you decide whether to return — for a renewal, a new hire, a second venue — without being enrolled in anything. The engagement closes when your question is answered.

What you should bring

For a working session to be useful, bring the figures that surround the question: recent POS or booking reports, the main supplier invoices, a payroll summary, and the latest VAT filing if you have one. If your records are not yet organised, say so in the inquiry — part of the session can be spent shaping them.

What this is not

This is not a yearly financial plan sold up front, and it is not a tax-filing service. It is a conversation, grounded in your actual numbers, that leaves you better equipped to make the decision you came with.

To start, send an inquiry.
